Paris and Benji turned a simple nightclub exit into a police matter last night after their car ran over a paparazzo's foot.
As the snappers swarmed PBandJ's ride, a loud yelping sound can be heard as Benj drove right over one photog's checkered shoe-covered foot outside Foxtail. After the rollover, Madden checked out the situation and took off. But just minutes ago, TMZ learned the treadmarked photog is currently dealing with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department over the incident. No word on whether Benji and Paris are even aware of that yet. Good morning, lovers!
UPDATE: The photographer just left the L.A. Sheriff's Department in West Hollywood, where he filed a hit and run report.

"I was just joking around and I made a stupid joke, I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim's hot!" Apparently Kim accepts the apology and says, "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry." Media whoredom at it's best people!

A judge has ordered that 18-year-old Barron go the way of sister-in-crime Lindsay Lohan and visit the L.A. County Morgue. He was also placed on three years probation and had his license yanked for a year.
Hilton was arrested in February after cops say he drove drunk, showed them a fake ID and rammed his car into a Malibu gas station employee.

Ever the diplomat, Paris Hilton and BF-of-the-moment Benji Madden partied like Africans at a hastily thrown together publicity event in South Africa on Friday.
Making good on her "promise" to do charity all over the world, Marie Antionette Paris visited a school in Pretoria on Thursday, and then decided to throw herself a soiree the next day at a club in Johannesburg.
People reports Penji (get it?) hung out in the VIP balcony section all night while her fans partied below. At one point, the heirmess announced that she "loved South Africa, the accent and everyone." Charming.
A person in the club says every time Hilton leaned over the balcony, the crowd went nuts.
Let them eat cake.
