Sean Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn have put their big-time Marin County, Calif. home up for sale. Anyone got a spare $15 mil lying around??

The Penns bought the 10,000 square foot mega-manse for a steal in '96 -- paying just $2.1 million for it. Then they spent two years fixing up the joint, and turned the 1933 Spanish-style home into a serious crib.
The two-story house has five bedrooms, a home office, a nanny suite, a home gym and a three-car garage -- plus a two bedroom guest house that has its own two-car garage. It also has all the standard celebrity home accouterments: pool, tennis court, big lawn and gardens and a dog run.
Sean and Robin filed, then unfiled, for divorce last year. Maybe they're moving in with Josh.

America's favorite Evangelical Christian singing dandy trio, The Jonas Brothers, just bought this $2.9 million, 7,360 square foot, six bedroom, six bath mansion in a Dallas gated community.

Poor Ed could use a spare room.

When you have seven children from five different women you need a big house.

Lucky for Rod Stewart, his 18,700 square foot Beverly Hills estate has 8 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms on 4 acres of land-- enough space for everyone to play nice.
The place is huge, but to put it in perspective, Candy Spelling's new apartment is smaller by about 2,000 square feet. Her APARTMENT!

Even Candy Spelling is feeling the housing crunch -- she's scaling back from the infamous Spelling mansion to a paltry 16,500 square foot penthouse.
Spelling just dropped $47 million (!!!) of her late husband's money on a two-floor condo that is a third of the size of her 56,500 square foot Holmby Hills estate. The apartment is located on the 41st and 42nd floors of the brand new Century building and won't be ready until 2009 -- around the time Tori gives birth to her fifth rugrat.
Candy is giving up her notorious gift wrapping room, 3,500 square foot closet and bowling alley and making do with the condo's two fireplaces, dining room for 25, staff quarters, massage room, rose garden and private swimming pool. These are tough times, people!

At least one former "American Idol" isn't worried about the housing crisis -- Kelly Clarkson just bought herself a new crib, y'all!

The OG "Idol" purchased this really nice -- but modest for a Grammy-winning pop star -- $1.5 million home in Nashville.
Maybe keeping it simple will be keeping Kelly from having to perform at local balloon festivals, housing developments or outlet malls in the future!

TMZ has learned Britney Spears may be finally moving out of her place in the Hollywood Hills -- to become a full-fledged California Valley girl. Like, totally, like, awesome, y'all!
We're told Brit Brit is "looking like crazy" to buy a house in a very exclusive part of Calabasas, located in the San Fernando Valley. We hear Brit's heart is set on a place in an extremely well-protected private community, home to rocker Travis Barker among a slew of other famous people. In fact, there are two sets of guard gates keeping Brit's potential new home from the common people.
Sources say Brit's been hanging out in the community gym lately, however, we're told no official deal on the mansion has been made yet.
And how's this for mom of the year -- the new pad would be closer (and certainly more accessible) to K-Fed and the kids in Tarzana, which is just a quick jaunt down the 101 Freeway ... depending on traffic.

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch debt has been bought out just days before the property was to go on the auction block. Who's bad?

TMZ has obtained the deed with the lucky new owners - 1224 LLC. The debt is said to be around $23 million - plus an additional few hundred for llama food.
For the record, Jackson is still the official owner of Neverland Ranch, he just signs his mortgage payments over to someone else now.

Author Tom Clancy's home suffered $10,000 worth of damage after a fire burned up a deck at his Maryland home. Don't worry, the residual check from the next re-run of "Patriot Games" should cover it.
Clancy was home at the time, but not injured in the blaze, a Maryland fire marshal spokesman said. It took 50 firefighters about 10 minutes to control the fire.
International espionage is not suspected.

Is the Hollywood housing market as incestuous as its dating market?
Tom Arnold just put his 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 4000 square foot Tarzana (that's like, in The Valley) shack up for sale for a cool $2.2 million, according to realtor.com. And public records show that Randy Jackson lived in that same shack before selling it to a non-famous family in 2005 - who then unloaded it on Arnold last year. We're pretty sure Jackson has since moved into a more posh palace - someone's gotta compete with Simon and Seacrest.

Maybe Jessica Simpson is smarter than we think -- now that real estate prices are tanking, she's looking for a pad in NYC, and, as TMZ has just learned, she just got a place at Palms Place in Las Vegas.

We're told that Simpson just closed on her one-bedroom suite at the luxury high rise next to the Palms Casino Resort, and she's among the first buyers at the new complex.
Amongst other perks, she can get her L.A. tan on at the new Drift Spa and Hammam (which we we've just been told is a Turkish bath), which will house Brit's ex-favorite fake-bake joint, Sunset Tan.

Michael Jackson is going the way of many American homeowners these days, only this foreclosure is a real circus.

Now here's a listing that's going to burn up the market -- the house where Michael Vick let dogs kill each other for amusement -- is up for sale for a cool $1.1 million. Arf!

The infamous dog house didn't sell during a recent auction -- shocking, we know -- so developer Wilbur Ray Todd, Jr. has put it on the market. The spread, in case you were wondering, is a 15-acre compound with five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, two fireplaces, cathedral ceilings -- and no doghouses of any kind! If they can't sell it, maybe they can leash it.
Mr. Ed beware: The listing notes that the property allows horses.
Vick's home these days is a prison cell in Warsaw, Va., where he's serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy.
