16-Year-Old Jamie Lynn Spears Is Pregnant

Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, has confirmed to OK! Magazine that she is pregnant. Oh. My. God.

A source tells us the interview, which hits stands tomorrow, is six pages and is on the record with Jamie Lynn and her mother. She tells the mag that the father is Casey Aldridge, who she has been dating for some time and first met at church. Brit's younger sister, star of Nick's "Zoey 101," says she's keeping the baby.

Sources tell us that she has not yet told her older sister. Well, she knows now.

UPDATE: Nickelodeon issued the following statement this afternoon: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

2090. my god, these idiots act like they have never encoutered a pregnant or parenting teen. shes 16, big deal. alot of teenagers do a better job parenting then most adults.
I had my daughter when i was 16 and i did a damn good job raising her thank you very much. i did it by myself too.

I wish jamie lynn the best of luck with her pregnancy labour and life being a mother.

2091. i think it's totally ok.
it was her own decision, and if she shouldn't be having a baby, she wouldn't have been able to get pregnant.
everyone jus needs to let her live her own life......
there are other pregnant teens out there other than jamie lynn, and the only one u focus on is her.
no-one has a life nemore, they have to but all the hollywood ppl cuz their famous, and they have nothing better to do.

2098. I think personally jaime being pregnant is nobodys business just because she is famous. I am a young mother and its not easy but i have my own house and my daughter as everything she needs and wants. Also just because her sister is messed up that doesnt mean she will be a bad mother. So really everyone needs to back off and worry about what there kids are out doing. So give the girl a chance.
