166. Wow. The first time a celebrity has been caught doing something illegal and actually sounds sorry for it! It's also refreshing that he didn't run to rehab. Not everybody that makes mistakes like these needs rehab ... but it seems the celebs (or their "handlers") thinks it's necessary to clean up their image. Maybe they think if they say "I have a problem" they get forgiven quicker.

Take a lesson from Ty! Admit, apologize and move on!!!

167. Ty, I like the show. With the image you've been projection, I think that it sucks that you'd DUI. The press release was a good start but in my book, it's not enough.

168. Here's a young man that does so much GOOD for the people of this country and yet people still bash him because he made a mistake? Drinking and Driving of course not a good idea but haven't we all felt we were fine to drive and weren't? He's a human being and made a mistake. I'm sorry he has to deal with the press along with his own disappointment.

170. Ya know. we have all made a bad judgement in life, all we need to do is instead of writing such bad comments is to stand by a person that has made a differerence in someones life which Ty has done. I am sure he will learn from this mistake. We love and stand by you Ty.

171. OK Guys.....All of you that are pounding on Ty, think about this...Have you ever driven over the speed limit, or have you ever run a red light? Bad things could of happened then too, because you made a bad judgement call. Ty made a bad call, was caught and confessed, no excuses. If this had been john doe down the street nobody would care....Oh if we heard about it we would complain and say how awful it was, but in a week we would forget.

We are all human, and as such make not wise choices sometimes, so cut a guy some slack for making a poor choice, and give him the opportunity to show he isn't a bad guy.

All your "do good" will ALWAYS be under scrutiny.....You have been filmed with (Miami) ones that I have been close to in my younger years......I also have had been in the "groupie rich eye" as well. I have chose to drop my public personae and live a stable and private life, for that matter. My family comes first!!! But if I had the money half these people getting DUI have, how hard is a driver to get??Cab not good enough fine If your going out for drinks call for a driver!!!

Have you ever watched the show? Apparently not. If you had, you would know that Ty has a heart the size of Alaska, and it shows. He's not your everyday "celebrity", he's a good guy. He made a mistake, a mistake many people make all the time and choose to--Ty just happens to have gotton caught. I am glad that no one got hurt, because TV needs more real people like Ty and his crew of friends. Judgement is not what Ty needs from anyone of us, he needs our love, something that seems in short supply here.

Ty, you cannot be perfect all the time, it must be alot of pressure to hold down the job you are doing and remain kind and caring, seeing all the sadness you are faced with constantly. Hold your head up and do not listen to hard people who can't see beyond their own noses. You'll get thru this too. Just start over, it is called forgiveness. JC

180. Ty, You are a shining light in a sea of negative influence in this world! I'm proud of you for taking responsibility for your mistake! I believe that you are a person who is genuine and not just sorry because you were caught. My son has ADD and you are a positive influence for that cause. You have turned all those negative attributes of ADD to the other side and made them work for you! Continue on the the high road and turn this into something positive as well! What counts is how this mistake changes you and what you do from here!
